BARISTA IN THE MAKING

Whether you dream of owning your own coffee shop, being able to serve barista-style coffee to friends and family, or simply have a passion for caffeine, our barista course is made for you. In an intimate group of five gathered at the Asian Institute of Hospitality Management (AIHM) in academic association with Les Roches, Bangkok campus, you will learn the basic theory of coffee making, the origin of coffee, and different coffee types commonly served around the globe. You’ll have many opportunities to practise making coffee to a professional standard using a commercial espresso machine. You’ll walk away from the three-day course able to pour the perfect espresso shot and create impressive latte art.

Course length: 3 days (18 hours)

Time: 9.00 – 16.00

THE WORLD OF WINE

Join us at the Asian Institute of Hospitality Management (AIHM) in academic association with Les Roches, for seven fun-filled days at Bangkok campus, where you will be fully immersed in the world of wine. Learn about the main grape varieties, and the traditions and cultures surrounding wine. Discover the importance of the environment, different wine-growing methods and the winemaking process. Round off your learning experience with essential knowledge about wine tasting and discover how to pair wine with food.

This course includes a one-day field trip to a Khao Yai vineyard to see what you’ve learnt being put into action.

Join us for this seven-week course on:

  • Saturday: 9, 16 and 23 January and 6, 13, 20 and 27 February 2021

OR

  • Sunday: 7, 14, 21 and 28 March and 4, 25 April and 2 May 2021

Course length: 7 weeks (42 hours)

Time: 9.00 – 16.00
